Check that Bluetooth is turned on. Unpair any other devices, go to your phone settings and "forget the device," then retry pairing. If the sensor is still not found, cover it with the applicator for 5 seconds and try again. Restart your phone if needed.
Ensure your phone stays within 2 metres of the sensor. Close and reopen the app, toggle Bluetooth off and on, restart your phone, or log out and log in again.
This indicates potentially inaccurate readings. Wait for the sensor to stabilise. If the error occurs early after insertion, improper technique or sensor damage may be responsible. Most errors resolve within a few hours; replace the sensor if the issue persists.
Crossing time zones causes this. Each reading is recorded at its local time, which preserves an accurate record of your glucose levels.
Calibrate the CGM to stabilise readings. Recalibrate after 2 days if low readings continue.
A CGM measures glucose in interstitial fluid, while a blood glucose meter (BGM) measures glucose in capillary whole blood. A time lag between the two readings is normal.
This can be caused by applying the sensor to damp or oily skin, bathing immediately before application, accidental dislodging, or normal wear over time. Make sure the application site is clean and completely dry before applying the sensor.
If the alarm thresholds are not set to your personal needs, alarms will sound more frequently. Adjust your high and low alert settings in the app to match your target glucose range.
The Vixxa 2 is suitable for anyone over 14 years old who wants to continuously monitor their glucose level without fingerpricks. It is particularly useful for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics, as well as health-conscious individuals.
The sensor is just 22mm in diameter and 4mm in height — one of the smallest CGM sensors available.
