The sensor begins transmitting data to the Vixxa CGM app within 55 minutes of activation.

The Vixxa 2 achieves an overall MARD (Mean Absolute Relative Difference) of 8.66%, as per manufacturer clinical data. It provides glucose readings every minute, giving you a detailed and responsive view of your glucose trends throughout the day.

Currently, CGM coverage varies by state and insurance provider in India. Yes! The Vixxa 2 carries an IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it is fully protected against submersion in water up to 2 metres for 60 minutes. You can shower, swim, and exercise without removing the sensor. We do recommend patting the area dry afterward to maintain optimal adhesion.

Each Vixxa 2 sensor lasts a full 15 days of continuous monitoring. After 15 days the sensor will automatically expire and you simply replace it with a fresh one. With the 3-month plan, for example, you receive 6 sensors — enough for uninterrupted coverage across the full period.

The Vixxa CGM app is available for both iOS (iPhone 8 and later, running iOS 15+) and Android (devices running Android 10+). The sensor connects via Bluetooth Low Energy, which is supported by virtually all modern smartphones. Check the app store listing for the full list of compatible devices.
